Dog walking/pet sitting and equine care





Rebecca is calm, confident and patient with animal handling and care and has various experiences with animals. She spent many years living on a farm in Wales caring for all types of pets and live stock including mammals, rodents and poultry. She has done a lot of fundraising and worked with organisations such as the RSPCA, Animal Sanctuaries, Pet Sitting Associations, and Veterinary surgeries.


She worked part time at The National Children’s Centre whilst studying an Animal Management HND and Bsc (Hons) Degree. It was a varied course which included visiting zoos, farms, aquatic centres and collections to do educational assignments such as risk assessments, species requirements and the domestication of captive animals. Other subjects of experience include environmental management, husbandry, handling, behaviour, nutrition, First Aid, microbiology and parasitology, breeding and legislation.



Anna joined Neighbourhood Pet Care in July 2014, after working in psychiatric pharmacy for the NHS for 13 years. She is passionate about animals and experienced in caring for a wide variety of our furry friends - from rats and ferrets to dogs and horses - having owned and loved most species of small mammals, dogs and horses since childhood


She currently shares her home with Buster (a 12 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Patterdale Terrier), Poppy (a 1 year old Border Terrier) and Cathy & Heathcliffe (the goldfish). She also owns a spirited thoroughbred mare that is stabled at a local yard.


When it comes to clients' animals, Anna loves them as if they were her own, ensuring they are happy, healthy and safe whilst they are in her care. Anna is currently completing an online certificate in dog psychology, and in the future she hopes to attend college and work towards a nationally recognised qualification in Animal Management.




Laura is an outgoing, social and reliable member of Neighbourhood Pet Care. She is an animal lover who has currently adopted a new cat as well as an elderly dog. She enjoys meeting new clients, arranging for care/socialisation needs and getting to know them better. Laura is the head of web design, advertising and accounts but she also enjoys being hands.


She previously worked for the local council with the elderly as well as service users with learning disabilities.She has achieved an BSc (Hons) in Medical Biology at The University of Huddersfield. She is now working for a medical device company within Regulatory Affairs and helps with Neighbourhood Pet care in her spare time.




Grayson the Border collie is proving to be a great success as part of Neighbourhood Pet Care. He is an intelligent, energetic, obedient and submissive boy with the enthusiasm to learn. He is now part of the socialisation program to help other animals over come fears, gain vital social skills and be shown how to behave.


When he is not working he spends most his time on the sofa snuggled up or laid in front of the fire. He loves to be out in the car and enjoys visiting family members He has a passion for tennis balls and will rip any toy up that is not dog proof. Grayson mainly enjoys treats but after a hard day’s work he won't say no to his regular food.
